This is a new concept I have learnt in my office today...itseems we need to ask what we want...otherwise we get nothing...RIDICULOUS....

Money....

I realised one thing after doing research on human tendencies that money goes to them who already posses a lot...a richman helps only a rich person...if it were a poor man he dosent even bother to look back.
Today morning,I saw one man on bike and one soiled clothed person asked for lift and he was not offered.Just few minutes later some clean dressed fellow asked for lift and he got it...what a difference.One can afford public transport while the other cannot....but still the person who can afford was given lift.When can we be "human beings"....
I find such incidences almost daily ....

And we forget to live the MOMENT.....

A message a friend has sent..and after I read I felt wow...this is very true....we really forget today thinking about tomorrow....

Ph.D

Paagal Hua Diwaana...is what Ph.D is defined as.True...people really go mad when the expected results are not achieved after working on a topic for months...and finally giveup and take up a new topic with a lot of uncertainity.Not sure if the topic chosen would be fruitful or not.
A friend of mine ,who is doing Ph.D is real fun .He knows how to convert a tough topic into a lite environment.He is from North east ...so obviously his height is less...we were all pulling his legs,then instead of recoiling,his answer was "Pull,atleast then my height will increase".
Moral of the story is"In frustration a person will atleast try to keep others happy whatever be the situation within, because they know what is the pain in being frustrated ".....

Let Go....

"let go" concept does n't work for people like me...and many others like me....reason is nothing else but attachment/possessiveness.I have been trying implement "5s" at home...and am not able to take decessions about things which are quite close to me or which have significance in my past...but are of no use now.Specialy a big teak wood cupboard.I know I wont use it...at the same time I cant throw it.ATTACHMENT... :)
Generations change..but concepts are same.

I am a freak for electronic gadgets...specially watches...and had to stay away from purchasing such stuff due to busy and hectic lifestyle for past two years...i found this unique,interesting and stylish watch in a small god forsaken shop..that too costing only Rs.140/-. I loved it in my first sight..and yes the next moment ...HAPPY.
Moral of the story is..."happines lies in getting what you like/love, not in how much u spend in terms of money."

Dreams.....

You sleep ..you dream...and next morning you forget.But if your dreams are an outcome of ur strong desire .i.e. in your "subconcious region" then you will certainly not forget them.One will always try to achieve their dreams by striving for making it come true.It becomes the driving force to wait for the next day...else what is the purpose of waiting for the next day???
I have many dreams,many are fulfilled and many are in process...and there are few which may not materialize .With the fear of not materializing the dreams,I don't stop dreaming...I still dream of the impossible things too...with a faith that if the effort is sincere nothing on this earth can stop from achieving it.How sincere..is the question.
So sleep well, dream well and work on them. :)

Cruel crow....

It took almost 5 months for these tiny birds to find a suitable place for building a nest and finally they could locate it in my kitchen balcony.I dont know the breed of these tiny ones...but 4-5 birds together build the nest and lay eggs in it.The nest was built with only one type of leaf which was thin and long.They have built a beautiful nest and I was very happy to hear their sweet voices(chirping) early in the morning.Today morning a crow was found frequenting towards the nest inspite of shooing it away.I felt scared that it would destroy the cute nest with eggs and small baby birds in it...as expected the nest is on floor and no bird is seen except tiny voice of a new born birdy..waiting for its momma....and pappa and all other family members...lets see the fate of the birdy ...

New fear....

There is a rumour that the place where our office is built is haunted.The people used to say that they could feel someone in and around them....Slowly things became calm until one of our housekeeping guys spectacles broke without any provocation,just few months back.So this was also gossiped upon for couple of days and we enjoyed.After ~ 3/4 months ,this topic came up yesterday.The passage on the side where people used to say the ghost was seen/felt its presence .... there are certain incidences my friend narrated to me today..that her mobile screen glowed on its own without even operating any buttons.And three times it seems. I dont believe but subconciously I question myself "do they really exist?"
Once again...it all depends on how you take it :)

In search of food......

There are two food juctions near my home..we generally go there whenever we feel extremely hungry...but there is always a big Q for getting a table to sit and dine...why waste time is mostly my motto.just cross the road, u find a mobile gaadi with all chat items from vada pav to bhel.Unfortunately there is line even there when ever we go.Tried entering into SUBWAY...but the line at the veg. counter is streched outside the door...so walked out....then what about food???? :)
there is always icecream/falooda/mastani point in the adjusant lane....enjoyed it.. :)

life is a question....

How would be the beginning of a new life after such destruction?Even if they cope ..it can never be like how it was for them...it would either be better or even worst...depends on ..once again ...how u take it.... :)

When will human brains grow???It is sad to see such stupidous act by our fellow human breed....when i saw this photo in news paper i felt so annoyed.
Do they have any sense of the hidden threat they would face if something goes wrong???

Different people..different thoughts

My previous entry prompted me to use the keys of keyboard here...of all the people in the troupe who went to picnic...it was only me who got down the steps into the well...i achieved nothing by doing that except winning a bet...but it gave an immense pleasure to me.
True happiness comes when u do what u want to do....
Ask anyone if they r enjoying their job...80% of people say..we r working because we get pay...not because they enjoy.One wont feel tired as long as they r doing what they like...they remain bubbly , active and happy always....
The different people i'm mentioning here are people who are doers and people who are dumpers(just dump without attempting)..."lets do it right now..and tackle the problem" is ones style,while "why do it when there is so much of risk"is others style.There is afamous saying"if things are inevitable sit back and enjoy".Some fight out while others compromise.....
risk takers...if they find destiny...they are lucky,if they dont...they will pave a new path which will be destined destiny for other catogory people. To achieve what is not sure is challenging.
Similarly the second catogory people are those who dont prefer to take risks.They are happy in their own frame...doing good job of whatever they do.But theres no adventure,no maza....

long back there used to be an advertisement on 7 up with subtitle "routine is boring" by the character fido dido...i used to run and come to watch the add.Its a diiferent one...i liked it.
long back i read somewhere...dont exactly remember but the phrase was "if its not mine...i dont want it"...my preference would have been "if its not mine and i like it ...then ...I'll not leave any stone unturned to get it"

bike vs scooter

I have been thinking of changing my bike with a new one...this time not a YAMAHA product but a HONDA product.But as expected , this society(including my own kith and kin) cant still accept a lady driving a motor bike like a man...why this difference in the peoples mind is still a question I've been asking myself.With so much of friction from my family members i am still driving my old bike with a hope that one day I will buy my dream bike.
I used to drive Chetak...it was supposed to be the heaviest among the scooters .I used to drive it since I was in 10th.The society and the mindset of people is still the same...even then they used to say why this girl wants to drive heavy vehicles like men..cant she go to school on her bicycle...It never changed and it will never change.
Surprisingly,the change has come in me...I started accepting the society the way it is...their concentration is always on me...what she would do next...it used to bother me but now I feel I am a celebrity as the public is interested in knowing about me....
Now I have permission to buy HONDA activa....but I am waiting for a day where my own people would say YES for a bike...WAITING :)

Grief and uncertainity....

She used to work as personal secretary to the GM of my department in my previous company.They removed her from job saying that she was slow and cant understand things fast.(this similar thing happened even in my present company with a young person unlike the lady I'm talking about..).She shed her tears on my shoulders with dilemma for her next comming days.I cant forget those sorrowful eyes with so much of uncertainity in life.She was 50+ . After a couple of years(~5yrs) I saw her on road and said hi to her..she immediately recognised and then started narrating her story that she lost her husband and she suffered a lot to find a job .
Recently I met her again..to catch bus at 9am she starts from home at 8.15am to walk a distance of 1/2km.
The reason why I wrote this is...she still found a reason to live happily inspite of the hardships she is facing...while most of us are scared of future with respect to their jobs or personal life instead of living for the moment .... :)

Irresponsible Governmant...and stupid people with expectations...

All are aware of swine flu in Pune...but the thing that is bothering more of swine flu than its spread is the Doctors who are serving the patients....Indian doctors are certainly more capable and brave...no doubt about it but they are foolish sometimes...they expect a lot from the government...two of the doctors and a nurse who were serving the patients here were proved positive for the virus and then the blame game started...they say the government has not taken care by supplying N95 masks...I'm not sure what their take home would be...but cant they efford the mask ...atleast for the sake of their family?????Why expect when u know nothing can be offered by .To move a purchase request from paper level to material level it will take years and sometimes the paper will see dustbin getting bored of staying in files....
When will, we as individuals behave like individuals ...expecting nothing from govt. and doing our best for the country by providing excellent services...WHEN????

" this is what was written in my astroprofile today...and I agree with it 100%.In life many things peep in as guests, some times that give pleasure and sometimes pain.Most of them will be passing phases...some may leave a permanant impact and some pass off unnoticed.This sort of situations mostly come up in every stage of life to everyone.The problem comes when you r not able to leave behind and move on....for that one needs a push,like inspiration or realisation.What say???

promises...

Whats the use of making a promise when u cant keep them....this is the question that is itching my mind since morning...People say,come to me I'll solve your problems...they will very nicely provoke u to tell ur problems and then will land up with giving no solutions saying that they are working hard but cant help in that situation much...when u know u cant do much...why promise and keep people in darkness??? and poor people they make a fool of themselves by expressing their views,wishes,dreams etc.etc.....ridiculous....

My advice would be...least expect from others..you are the best person to get a solution for ur own problems. Listen to advices..but take ur decisions...tomorrow u'll not repent for ur decisions...as u are the owner of them.Dont wait till someone comes and helps...start helping urself...be INDEPENDENT and self sufficient.

waiting...

In every stage of life somewhere or other we will have to wait...just like a hungry person waits for food,poor waits to become rich etc etc.I am waiting for my results.24hrs are not sufficient in a day...and that too only 10hrs for work is very very less and demands are more..i sometimes feel i should have a set up of all instruments at home ...so that i can try my wierd mind whenever an idea clicks...but we have our own limitations...we need to wait for the right moment.everything has its incubation period...inspite of knowing this fact we humans tend to wait innumerable amounts of time ...But "i hate waiting"... :)

railways...

when i was in 9th std. we had to cross railway tracks to go to school.There used to be no gate when trains come and go...me,my big school bag and my bicycle.I narrowly missed twice death while crossing tracks.Sometimes when my friends accompanied me..we used to park our bikes and wait for the train to come...just before the train came, we used to put a 5np or 10np coin on the tracks and allow the train to go...it was great fun to see the coin in absolute flat metal sheet...
i feel i have some connection with railway tracks..hahah..the home where i'm staying now is near to the railway tracks and after 10.30pm...we can clearly hear the horn of trains...things follow like hutch puppy or shadows....My life reminds me of the silent movie"pushpak" hindi version acted by Kamal haasan... :)

Curry leaves...

Most of us are aware about what curry leaves are....it is a flavouring leaf and is typically used in every south indian dishes.But the irony is...every one likes its flavour but no one eats it.It is almost always picked and left aside in the plate,though they enjoy its flavour.The reason behind me writing about it here is...i just remembered a coleague of mine who had a tuff time in professional life...the phrase used was"I am used like a curry leaf,after the work is done I'm left aside".
I liked the comparision made...and it remains a fact that we really enjoy its flavour...but its position is in dustbins most of the times.
Most of the times..we humans will face such situations in professional life...ofcourse , sometimes in personal life too...but prominently in work areas.
Very recently,a person was shifted from one dept. to another..when asked he said i am no more required there.This statement made me recollect the above mentioned quote.
After all,CURRY LEAVES are CURRY LEAVES which leaves flavour...if consumed,its good for health as they are rich in vitamin A....if left aside they still do their job of giving contentment by providing flavour....so relish it either way :)

favoritism....

Human thinking....

I was going home after office and suddenly something fell in one of my eyes...i stopped on one side and tried to find what fell in my eye which has created so much of burning ....i couldnt find anything..but it was burning horribly....as a sympathy my second eye also started weeping/watering....if one eye is in trouble,the other eye also expressed its grief and showed that it is there in thin and thick of life.....what bothered me was why we humans are not like that...we hardly find a sibbling feeling sad when his/her other sis/brother are in trouble.They belong to same family..they share same blood...still no sympathy for eachother...if we expand it to society...we share the same society...but how far we are with it...what are we doing by being in the same brotherhood...I feel sorry for my/our own behaviours and resposibities we share towards our family or society...

A few days back a good friend of mine was discussing about Manu's theoryof social living and told that it was he who described how a woman should live and a man should live in this society.As a coincidence the topic was raised again at home referring to the crime rate in India.It is increased as the woman today is no more following the rules and regulations that were laid upon her.This was told by a lady....what she said was...the women nowadays are no more under the protective sheet of men..they are going out for studies and jobs...and thats the reason crime rate has raised...But my understanding to the problem is entirely different...The women have become more bold nowadays as compared to the past...they are now bold enough to fight for their rights instead of silently taking the beatings of this society.
In olden days too..i guess...there should be some crime happening upon women..but because of the shy nature and with a fear of what would the society think....they used to keep silence.There is a good saying in telugu which means "whether it is thorn on leaf or leaf on the thorn...it is the leaf that gets damaged" and the women were compared to that of status of leaf.Now,the story is different...the SHE has become more stronger than HE.No inhibitions and no hinderances.they are streching their limits to achieve their dreams .Ofcource..there are still few women strictly following the rules the society had laid upon this sweet species of beautiful creation of GOD.I wish those women too..to see light soon.

This is a small narration of reality in life...this is about a lady who works as a servant maid...
She dint do schooling.Now she should be in her early 50's..good looking,sleek body and very sincere when it comes to work.She travels distances to earn and meet with the expectations of her livelyhood.So self esteemed that she dosent want to depend upon her son for money matters as she feels she would be depriving the luxuries of her daughter- in- law .
She got married when she was 16yrs.Because of lack of education..she sounds very innocent.When she got married some local jyotish(fortune teller) told her that if she delivers a baby she would die.But one fine morning she came to know that she is going to be a mother.From that day her fear for life doubled.Months passed on so fast that the day of delivery came very near...that too when she was out of her hometown to visit her sister in law who was expecting a baby in couple of days...but who knows that this lady would deliver so soon..a prematured one.There was nobody to help her and her husband got an old lady(almost blind) to help in delivering.The place they visited was a god forsaken place where there were no trained nurses...and her relatives went to the hospitals where the other lady was admitted.
When the baby was born,the old lady who helped in delivery told that she cant see properly and hence asked this maid to cut the cord of her baby...she being a kid herself has cut the cord without leavin space for a kmot...the baby died within hours due to ignorance of bothe the females...the output is death of an infant.
Days passed..she grew upto 18yrs..a little matured with more superstions dissolved in her blood...she was pregnant once again for the second time....but the fear of dying also doubled...this time the impact was so harsh on her mind that she physically beacme weak and ill.She has borne a baby boy for second time too...but the boy had to die of starvinfg after 9 days as she herself was weak and sick with the words of tantrik echoing in her life....
Some more years passed and she gave birth to another boy...but the tragedy was her husband became mad and ran away from home.The boy was brought up by her mother in law and herself.With lot of struggling she brought him up,educated him till tenth and now he works in a multiplex theater as security in parking lot .
She was rejected by all her relatives as they were afraid of she being a burden to them if they show sympathy to her...she dint give up in life.Now she is better off that others...now all her relatives want her...but she never depended on any of them for help.
She is living happily with her son and daughter in law.But there are many issues related to her which i may narrate soon....

Misusing your concern or goodness...

How do you feel when your own so called friends Take you for granted and uses you for getting their things done???
I cant accept this sort of behaviour in people...but the truth is I've seen such type of people in my life too.....
My advice is dont give weightage to those who are not worth your company.....

Accident..without my involvement !!!

At last....lying at home with a damaged leg after a beutiful thrilling accident .
Moral of the story was "you need not be wrong to meet with accidents, they are possible even due to others mistakes".
Similarly, in life most of the times even without your involvement manythings will be taking place....only solution is you need to be prepared to manage any unexpected changes or situations...
Staying at home without any work is damn boring.... :)

Watched this movie...i dint find anything worth getting 8 Oscars.There are better indian movies really really worth Oscars...I dint understand how and why it is so successful.It is also like anyother art movie..class movie..and it is also run on a story based on a woman and money...yeah..its certainly worth watching once.
